...unless he loves the wild ones. - Forbes Watson
I like Autumn. I can't decide whether I like it better than Spring or Summer. It's not too hot, is gloriously crisp and sunny, and the leaves are a brilliant array of color, not to mention, my birthday is in the same month that Fall starts. So yes, I like Autumn!
Then it got dreary, cold, rainy, and muddy for weeks. And then, a couple times in October, we woke up to several inches of snow on the ground!!!
There was seriously 2" of snow blanketing trees that still had leaves on them and even some of them were still green!!
The leaves survived though and stayed on their branches quite a bit longer than usual, although I thought they weren't quite as pretty as they have been in past years. Another weird thing; under normal circumstances, you can plan on raking leaves after the middle of October, but this year, the leaves have just fallen in the past couple days!
When we were at the Wilderness Fellowship, I saw this eagle WAAAAAY out across the swamp so I had to zoom in quite a bit to get a decent picture. So, thus the somewhat blurry, low quality grainy-ness. Anyways, enjoy. ;)
